A Thomas and Thomas Paradigm bamboo fly rod, 8'6", 2-piece, 2-tip, and built for a #5 line. Serial #5775. Weighs 4.1 ounces on my scale. Impregnated model. Used but in very good condition. The rod is nice and straight with little to no oxidation loss on the hardware although the grip shows discoloration from hand soiling. Medium action. The blank has been lightly flamed and treated to the "tiger stripe" color scheme and done in a three up node pattern with the nodes lighter than the blank. The main wraps are brown with maroon edges with an extra band of yellow and black at the keeper, male ferrules, and tip tops. Carbide stripper and chrome guides and tip tops. Oxidized Swiss ferrules with a collar and they retain 99% of the original oxidation. The grip is formed of 1/4" corks and turned to a half wells profile. The 3 1/2" long reel seat is formed of 1/4" corks and hand flatted. The oxidized cap and ring bears the T&T die stamp "Thomas and Thomas, Makers" and has a tiny bit of edgewear to the oxidation. The rod comes with a tan colored cloth bag with a stiffener and packs into a black crackle painted aluminum tube with brass hardware and the T&T data sticker.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

Other Terms
- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
