For sale here is a Wright & McGill Granger Deluxe Model 8642 - 8'6" 3/2 for a 5wt line. GD8642. The rod is excellent original condition. All sections are full length and straight. Pale green and black jasper silks with two bands of gold tipping. Swelled butt. The script remains clean though slightly faded from time. Western-style grip. The cork grip has been lightly sanded and a tiny amount of ridging still exists. There is also a small chunk missing from the bottom edge from being used as a hook-keeper. Patented nickel silver uplocking reel seat. The seat operates smoothly, but there is a small, shallow dent on the back side. This is only cosmetic and does not hinder function in any way. Ferrules are size 11/64 and 17/64 with a good fit. The rod weighs 5.35 oz. The action is classic medium-fast. Smooth with plenty of power from the butt and finesse and delicacy from the thin tips. Includes original bag and original maroon tube with label mostly intact.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
