For sale here is a Per Brandin hollow-built four-strip (quad) bamboo rod. 8'3 for a DT4 line. Model 834-2 df HB Special. The rod weighs 3.2 oz. From Per's website: "This model was very favorably referred to in John McDaniel's book Fly Fishing the Harriman Ranch and it is the rod of choice for many experienced cane anglers fishing there and waters with similar demands such as the Missouri and West Branch Delaware." Blued nickel silver cap and slide band over all-cork reel-seat. Rod is designed to be joined by a taped splice rather than with ferrules. Comes with Port Orford Cedar splice protectors and original bag and labeled brass-capped tube. The rod remains in flawless condition.
