For sale here is a Gary Howells bamboo rod - 8 1/2 feet for a 6 weight in the standard 2/2 format, labeled 4 1/4 oz. Serial number 3766. Excellent plus condition. Craig Lynch has confirmed that this was Gary's personal rod and was noted in his production log, "my 4 1/4 #6". Carbide stripping guide, wrapped in brown thread with gold trim. Reverse half wells grip, uplocking aluminum reel seat with gorgeous zebra wood spacer. Includes original red bag and labeled aluminum tube. The label was produced by Craig Lynch after Gary's death.
