For sale here we have a 7 1/2 foot R.L. Winston bamboo fly rod made in Twin Bridges, MT. Serial #1922 made in 1981. Marked 3 1/2 oz. A very pleasant progressive action that Montana Winstons are known for. Best with a WF5 line in my opinion. Some may prefer a DT4. Made under Tom Morgan's and Glenn Brackett's leadership. Reverse half wells grip with cork reel seat and pocketed nickel silver butt cap and slide band. Transparent tan wraps with burgundy tipping at ferrules, tip-tops, hook keeper. Original red bag and brown labeled tube. Excellent+ lightly used condition.
