For sale here is a Paul H. Young Midge bamboo rod - 6'3" with two sections and two tips. The rod is in excellent+ condition. Richly flamed cane with no issues. All sections are full length and straight. The writing on the rod reads:

The rod was restored at some point in its life. The script is faded on the corners of the flats. The two male ferrules are of slightly different design even though this is likely how Young built the rod originally. No repairs to the cane are evident and none are needed.
The wraps are a deep black. The ferrules are black aluminum. All cork reel seat with knurled, aluminum rings. Diminutive grip with light ridging. The original satin bag is in perfect condition, a rarity in itself as usually these satin bags deteriorated quite noticeably with moderate use and age. The ferrules are size 12/64 with a good fit. The rod weighs 1.80 oz. The taper is definitely parabolic and the action is medium-fast with a great deal of backbone. The original Champion-style tube is in great condition as well.
