For sale here is a Paul Young Perfectionist bamboo rod -- 7'6" 2/2 2.70 oz. Takes a 4 wt. line. Serial no. 4192, delivered in May 1965. Cigar grip with cork reel seat spacer and dual black anodized aluminum reel seat bands, which have 100% of their finish intact. Standard tan wraps with all writing on rod in Bob Summers' hand. This rod has the very desirable "light" .260 butt taper, taking a true 4wt. line, and making for one of the finest casting rods out there. Made with the special black "featherweight" aluminum ferrules which create much less of a stress point and make for a smoother action. Ferrules are unmarred and show no wear. Original bag and Champion tube. Overall, the rod is in fabulous condition showing little use.
